Ord&Bild is one of Sweden’s oldest and most respected cultural and literary magazines, founded in 1892. It publishes essays, criticism, fiction, poetry, and interdisciplinary writing on literature, the arts, politics, and contemporary culture.
Den dramatiska texten (Issue 1, 2026) explores the relationship between dramatic writing and theatrical performance. The issue brings together essays, interviews, literary criticism, visual art, and reflections on translation, playwriting, performance, and the creative process, highlighting how dramatic texts are interpreted, adapted, and brought to life on stage.
