Torrlägg Öresund was curated by Post Brothers, gathers fourteen artists from both sides of the Öresund to examine the region as a nexus of sociocultural, ecological, technological, economic and political entanglements. Through works rooted in local stories—from migration and climate change to privatisation—the exhibition probes infrastructure, greenwashing and large‑scale societal transformations. It takes its name from Ruben Rausing’s proposal (1953) to drain the strait between Malmö and Copenhagen, reframing that visionary and capitalist fantasy as a provocation to reconsider borders, development and the material forces shaping our lives.

Andreas Rønholt Schmidt
Henriette Heise
